2025 CAHN Member Benefits
CAHN membership is available to nurses in Canada who work with liver disease. If you do not meet these criteria, join us as a Friend of CAHN to gain access to CAHN’s educational tools and events. Friends of CAHN are not eligible for the Travel Reimbursement benefit but do receive priority seating and a discounted registration rate.
CAHN Member Travel Benefits
- CAHN is run by members for members. Education and patient care are our top priorities. To support this, CAHN offers a generous travel reimbursement benefit to ensure easy access to our educational events, The Canadian Liver Meeting and CAHNference. For 2025, this includes up to $500 in travel reimbursement towards each event plus 50% of one night’s accommodation at CLM and two night’s at CAHNference. All CAHN members also receive:
- Registration discounts to CAHN and partner events.
- CAHN’s education library. CAHN strives to ensure education is accessible to all members, including those to whom travel is a barrier.
- Member recognition and awards. Members may be nominated by their colleagues to receive deserving recognition for the important work they do.
- Discounts on partner organization membership fees.
- Community of Practice Facebook Group, a platform for CAHN nurses to connect, collaborate, and share professional insights.
- Mentorship & Funding: Previously the International Presentation Travel Grant, this revised benefit offers to mentor and partially fund nurses who wish to author and present an abstract nationally or internationally.
