Celebrate CAHN's 25-Year Anniversary At

CAHNference 2024

This November marks CAHN’s 25th Anniversary! To celebrate, we would like to invite all members to join us for a special Member Appreciation Dinner at the Delta Hotel downtown Calgary on Friday, November 1. This dinner will precede CAHNference 2024 which is planned for the full day, November 2. All members are welcome.

We plan to hold a special presentation celebrating CAHN and the wonderful work our volunteers have accomplished over the quarter century, and we will hold the Awards and Recognition Ceremony. It’s sure to be a very memorable, heart-warming event.

We hope to see there!

Gathering to Share Indigenous Knowledge

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with the Gathering to Share Indigenous Knowledge Symposium to be held on Friday, November 1st.

“Gathering to Share: Head, Heart, Hands Together on Hepatitis C Care.” This engaging event is designed to bring together healthcare professionals, Indigenous leaders, community organizations, and other stakeholders to explore holistic and culturally relevant approaches to Hepatitis C care.

The agenda is a full day packed with insightful sessions, including updates on the latest resources and programs, Indigenous perspectives on sexual health, and the role of culture and language in STBBI (Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections) programming. Participants will gain valuable knowledge on balancing liver wellness and integrating traditional medicine and harm reduction strategies.

Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to the conversation on improving Hepatitis C care through shared knowledge and collaborative efforts. Your participation will help us bridge gaps, foster understanding, and create meaningful connections that honor both traditional wisdom and modern practices.
