2026 CAHN Member Benefits
CAHN membership is available to nurses in Canada who work with liver disease. If you do not meet these criteria, join us as a Friend of CAHN, Retiree Member, or Student Member to gain access to CAHN’s educational tools and events. Friends of CAHN are not eligible for the Travel Reimbursement benefit but do receive priority seating and a discounted registration rate.
CAHN Member Travel Benefits
- CAHN offers travel reimbursement to ensure easy access to CAHNference. For 2026, this includes up to $750 in travel reimbursement plus 50% of two nights’ accommodation at CAHNference. Members MUST attend CAHN’s annual general meeting IN FULL to be eligible. Make sure to read the Conference Travel Policy to be aware of other eligibility requirements.
All CAHN members also receive:
Virtual Education: CAHN strives to ensure education is accessible to all members, including those to whom travel is a barrier. Since 2020, CAHN has offered virtual education to members through our education library, which houses presentations from all of our events since its inception. Members may access this education through their CAHN Member Portal.
Presentation Travel Grants: We’re removing the “international” from the International Presentation Travel Grant (IPTG) in 2026 to support nurse presentations at national events. Learn more about the CAHN presentation travel grant.
Discounts: CAHN members have access to discounts from partner nursing organizations. When you renew or join, please let us know which organizations you belong to. Members can access available discount codes through their CAHN member portal.
Recognition: Members may be nominated by their colleagues for recognition of the important work they do. Award presentations will be held at CAHNference 2026.
